Who needs Christmas presents...

Brandon gets holy to ward off the Halloween spirits!

Brandon had his first flight to San Jose for his Baptism in October! We were very nervous about flying but he did well. He loved looking at all the new things at the airport then passed out right before take-off (thank goodness)!

Brandon's first Halloween was a ton of fun. There were so many cute costumes out there so he got to dress up twice. He passed out candy as a monkey Halloween night then served as Daddy's accessory at Saturday night's TV show-themed party. He doesn't look happy in either costume :)

Last 3 weeks

We've been slacking on the blogging... sorry! The past three weeks have been great! Brandon is now cooing and making cute ah-goo noises. He gets overly excited sometimes and tries to talk while he's breathing in which results in a loud snort-like noise :) He has also figured out that his hands are his own, making thumb-sucking a whole lot easier.

Brandon finally met Brett Favre a few weeks ago also! The two boys have been friends since their womb days :) Brett is an absolute cutie. Check out his blog http://www.brettsplaybook.blogspot.com/

All by himself!

Last night we let Brandon sleep in his room all by himself! It was a lot harder for mommy to adjust to this... Brandon probably didn't even notice the difference! Actually, he probably enjoyed it more than sleeping in our room because in the morning he gave mommy his first REAL smile!

Playtime!

Brandon is now staying up for several hours at a time to play! He loves looking around and playing on his activity mat or his "kick & play" (thanks Taylor and Carter!). Here he is playing... then passing out afterwards :)

He loves his Boppy!

He had his 1-month doctor's appointment today. Weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces!!! Woo hoo!!!

Little Bookworm

1 Month Birthday!!!

We didn't have a traditional Chinese red eggs and ginger party for Brandon's 1st month birthday... instead the 3 of us celebrated at Red Robin. He didn't do much celebrating... just slept in his car seat while mom and dad scarfed down their burgers.

The second week was MUCH easier. Look how fast he's changing!

First Week 7/18 - 7/25

The lack of sleep combined with trying to figure out what to do with this tiny human made for a ROUGH first week. We eventually figured it out :) Why can't babies come with a manual?

To make it more complicated, Brandon had jandice so he had to get phototherapy on a bili blanket and get blood drawn everyday. His poor heels were so cut up!
